Its actually quite interesting to live on a planet with no set orbit. The events found commonly on other worlds with their set times and set hours that are actually quite rare and unique to my home.
Sunrises, for example. Those only come when my world happens to be close enough to another star and if you were at the right time and place to watch them. The first time I ever saw one on Nowhere was when I was preparing to travel though an area called the Pastel Hills. I had just flown to the top of a pinnacle when the colors started to shift in the sky and casted an unusual light over the surface....
... It was... Quite possibly the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
Hooooooo boy! That only took forever and a half!
This was an experiment with shading using This tutorial
in combination with my own style of shading.
This was also for a contest that
was hosting, which the journal on that is here
Yesss its finally done! And I'm sorry for taking so long to finish it, but I'm glad its done! I like the way it turned out in the end, but I think this shading style needs a bit of work and practice before I get it down to perfect shininess~
Either way, I have a bunch of WIP images while making this 'cause I kept sending it to people and going "!!! LOOK AT THIS ITS LOOKING AWESOME SO FAARR~"
