Bumpy Bracelet

This was the second bracelet I made for my Jewelry class, it was actually made from the extra links from the first one. The first one I made was similar to this one, but it had fallen off while I was at school and I haven't seen it since.

This bracelet was actually kinda fun to make, at least, it was after I finished making the links. My teacher had us make links by wrapping wire around a dowel and then sawing them off, which was wonderfully sucktastic. There were a variety of dowels, some round some square. I used a large round one and a small square one, made those links, soldered them, and then proceeded to beat them with the round edge of a hammer till I got the texture above. I then made the small links in between and made that pattern.

Yeah, I was kinda sad when I lost the first bracelet. It was similar, only instead of the 3 large round links near the center, it went in a round, square, round, square pattern. Either way, I like this bracelet a lot still and wear it daily. In fact, you may see it in some other pictures I have in my gallery which may feature my hand or arm. d=
